On this day 3 months ago, I hit the publish button, and I am grateful I did. It’s actually still a surreal experience for me. And I can’t thank you my amazing readers and subscribers enough for your constant support.
Just before I go on, let me start by wishing you an awesome month… I pray for strength to go through each day of this month and beyond. Here’s a Link to the first post of the month, you might find it interesting.
So, last month, Myself, Hubby and a few friends with their kids decided to visit the Dubai Parks and Resorts. It was such a beautiful experience because I relived some of my childhood experiences and I had so much fun and took a lot of pictures thanks to my Samsung phone (Hubby forgot the camera 😩😩)
The theme park offers visitors a thrilling network of mega theme parks like Motiongate™, Bollywood Parks™ and LEGOLAND®. Our first stop was Legoland because of the kids.
This is a lego representation of Dubai Marina, with one of it’s magnificent 75-storey residential tower that spirals in a smooth curve by an astonishing 90 degrees to give every apartment a stunning view of the sea.
I got on the roller coaster with our friends kid, and it was such a shameful experience, I was the one screaming and the boy was just enjoying his ride all the way… This is the part where you call me *Aunty Agbaya* 😆😆😆
Once we were done with Legoland, we went straight to the dining boulevard to eat. I ordered their Chicken and Chips which I really enjoyed and their sauce OMG! No Words! Just Love!
The next stop was the Bollywood Park 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 I am a huge fan of bollywood movies, though at some point growing up, my mom banned Bollywood movies in the house because I almost passed out watching a particular scenes in “Sholay”. Thank God she walked in just in time to save me.
So you can Imagine all that was going through my head, the moment I came across the “The Hunt for Gabbar Singh Ride” I knew it was the perfect opportunity to get my pound of flesh back 😆😆😆. And that was exactly what I did! I do recommend this ride though, if you get to visit, It was so much fun we had to go for a second ride.
My Taj Mahal Moment… (Would love to visit India though, hopefully before the year runs out, if my Indian brother will agree to take me on an all expense paid trip 😩😩😩)
The final stop was Motiongates. At this point we could only do the Dream Works tour, cos we were really tired and all we wanted to do was go home…
The Teshola’s and The Shreks...😆😆😆
Because I knew, there was going to be a lot of walking and climbing, I decided to go super comfy; Sweat top cos it was quite chilling, Jeggings, sneakers and my shades for the sun.
I had a pretty good time at the park and would love to visit again. Got any childhood memories you will want to relieve? Please share! would love to read. Have you visited the Dubai Parks and Resorts? What do you think of my looks? Please feel free to share and let’s connect as always.💋💋
