How I Re-Rocked My Traditional Wedding Outfit.

How I Re-Rocked My Traditional Wedding Outfit.

Fashion, Outfits

The truth is writing an outfit and travel post can be very difficult 😩😩😩 you spend hours trying to figure out the title and then what to write and then transferring pictures and editing… I have been on this for a while now and it’s past midnight here 😩😩😩

Dear Bloggers, Is it just me? what post do you find the most challenging to write?

In this post I explained how I had my traditional outfit sitting in my wardrobe since 2013, and finally decided that Re-Fashioning it, would be the best option for me to be able to wear it again (because I love the fabric and wouldn’t just let it go). Since Midi-Skirt never  goes out of style and the elastic band season is upon us yet again, I decided to whip out my elastic and got to work. (here’s a step by step tutorial)

The outcome was so good I couldn’t wait to Re-rock it. Finally  got the opportunity to re-rock it to church yesterday and I got a lot of compliments…(I bet majority of them didn’t know it’s the *george* (not sure if that is the correct spelling though; Help a sister out if am wrong) Wrapper used for traditional weddings) Wondering why I own one? Hubby is from Delta😉

I styled my skirt with this beautiful sequin top I bought from the liverpool street market in London ( by the way, if you go visiting you should visit that market, it’s a sunday market. you get amazing stuff for great prices. My london people can I get a witness 🙌) It’s also been sitting in my wardrobe for 3 years *coversface*

How long does an item stay in your wardrobe before you give it out?

Guess the post title should have been “3 years wait is over” 😆😆😆. Enough of the talking biko, let’s get right into the pictures and outfit details. I hope this post inspires you to look into your wardrobe first before buying that next top or outfit 😉.
