Like I mentioned in this post, my default makeup look is always a smoky eyes and nude lips. However, I am gradually becoming a rebel 😂😂😂 and loving this my classic Monochromatic makeup look. Anytime I am going for a Monochromatic look, be sure it’s this pink shade range. Just incase you are wondering which one is Monochromatic Makeup again all this “makeupin people” in *Jenifas Voice* 😆😆😆 it’s the technique of keeping your eyes, lips, and cheeks within one shade range.
The reason I always opt for smoky eyes asides from the fact that it’s just an easy eye look for me to create, is because it works beautifully with my eye shape, it’s always a win, win for my hooded eye shape. That’s one thing as a makeup artist to always consider when working on your clients, face, eye, and lip shapes this will help you enhance your client’s beautiful facial features.
So, on tuesday I posted this picture on my Instagram page here and asked if my family on there, will want me to do a tutorial of this look and I got a handful of yes, so without any further long story 😆😆😆 let’s get into it… shall we?

Oya, back to the matter 😆😆😆 I started this look by, defining my eyebrows using a brow pencil and slightly filling it in till I got the desired results following my natural brow shape. After which I cleaned it up using a concealer a shade lighter than my foundation shade.
The next thing I do is the eyes, I start by priming my eyes, and go in with my transition color blending it out using a clean brush, once it’s well blended, I applied the lid color which is this Pink shade from the Morphe 35N palette and I go back in with my blending brush to blend the harsh lines and give a seamless transition for both Colors. I lined my eyes with the Inglot gel liner and popped on my lashes and viola the eye look was complete.
After priming my face with the NYX Angel Veil Primer, I applied my foundation, and start the whole highlight and low light shenanigans using the LA pro concealer in fawn for highlight, setting it with Sacha butter cup. I powdered the entire face with Mac mineralised skin finish powder and lowlight using Maybelline powder in Cacao.
Because I was going for a monochromatic makeup look, I lined my lips using the Zaron lip pencil in fussy Fuchsia and then just in the Centre I applied Zaron Lipstick in Pretty Pink.
Went back to finish off the eyes, by lining my water line with a white pencil from House of Tara, and using the transition color under my lower eyes for more definition.
You know a girl’s look is not complete without a glow ba 😆😆😆 Glow baby! Glow! 😂😂😂 I went in with the Zaron face definer in PZ 15 and viola the look was complete
