Say Hello to the newest Aunty in Town 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 During the week one of my favourite cousin gave birth to a bouncing baby boy 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 and I honestly can’t wait to meet him. While I was still basking in the euphoria of being a new Aunty I thought why not do a beauty post that can help new moms makeup routine.
As a new mom taking care of yourself is really the least on your to do list, especially with family and friends coming to see you and the new baby, all you just want to do is sleep after most of the shenanigans. Sometimes you don’t even have time to shower let alone apply a complicated makeup routine.
But you know I am all about you looking and feeling your very best all the time and here are a few quick steps that can help any new mom feel more like her old self again. Plus, it can be done in as little as a minute! The key is having these three items; Concealer, Mascara, and Lip gloss handy in your cosmetic bag or bed side table so you don’t spend time digging for them:
First, use concealer to disguise those dark under-eye circles from lack of sleep, and to cover up any broken capillaries from those numerous hours of pushing to bring your new bundle of joy into the world.
Tips: Ensure your concealer is same shade as your skin tone and gently working it in using your fingers. If you don’t have a Concealer, your foundation will work just fine.
Second, set the under eye concelear/foundation and the entire face with either a loss or compact powder.
Second, swipe on some great mascara. It opens the eyes and always makes you look more “together.”
Lastly, sweep on some rosy lip gloss, preferably one with a wand for easy application.
Even if you’re feeling like a complete mom blob, these three easy steps will make you look radiant and polished—ready to face the world and the mirror in just 60 seconds!
