It’s my 36th birthday, yoooo! when this happen? where did all the time go? here I am right in my mid thirties feeling like a methuselah with GenZ vibe though (lol). So in the methusela spirit, I thought to share some of the most important life lessons I’ve learned over the years. Here they are, in no particular order:
- You need God
- Accept Help, no one succeeds alone
- Life isn’t a race it’s a marathon
- Social media is a tool
- You are not the messiah you can’t save anyone
- Godliness and contentment is indeed great gain
- I know it’s really tough not to compare but this is the ultimate joy killer
- Your health is your most valuable asset
- Problem e no dey finish, make you try they enjoy small small
- Exercise is important for your overall health
- Don’t give up on yourself
- Gbogbo wa la ma je breakfast cos Life is constantly dishing it
- Don’t underestimate the power of support systems. You don’t have to do it alone.
- Be Kind not just to others but to yourself
- Master your emotions
- Embrace every dimension of yourself
- Don’t box yourself
- Celebrate every single win, no matter how insignificant you think it is
- Stay Humble
- Blow your trumpet
- Have some Social Currency
- Start investment early
- God and Medicine can co-exist in one sentence
- Travel as often as you can, it’s a perspective changer
- The God definition of Love is enough
- Strive for Excellence not Perfection
- The God factor makes all the difference in everything
- Have a personal relationship with God
- Experience is not the best teacher the Holyspirit is
- Adulthood doesn’t always give what it should be giving a.K.a Adulthood is a scam… lol
- Nobody has it all figured out.
- Instant gratification feels good but leads not where #trusttheprocess
- Feel the fear but do it afraid
- Do not Assume, Communicate about everything
- Change is inevitable
- Don’t settle, and if you have to, ensure it’s for more.
