HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

It’s my 36th birthday, yoooo! when this happen? where did all the time go? here I am right in my mid thirties feeling like a methuselah with GenZ vibe though (lol). So in the methusela spirit, I thought to share some of the most important life lessons I’ve learned over the years. Here they are, in no particular order:

  1. You need God
  2. Accept Help, no one succeeds alone 
  3. Life isn’t a race it’s a marathon
  4. Social media is a tool
  5. You are not the messiah you can’t save anyone 
  6. Godliness and contentment is indeed great gain 
  7. I know it’s really tough not to compare but this is the ultimate joy killer 
  8. Your health is your most valuable asset 
  9. Problem e no dey finish, make you try they enjoy small small 
  10. Exercise is important for your overall health 
  11. Don’t give up on yourself
  12. Gbogbo wa la ma je breakfast cos Life is constantly dishing it
  13. Don’t underestimate the power of support systems. You don’t have to do it alone. 
  14. Be Kind not just to others but to yourself 
  15. Master your emotions
  16. Embrace every dimension of yourself 
  17. Don’t box yourself 
  18. Celebrate every single win, no matter how insignificant you think it is 
  19. Stay Humble 
  20. Blow your trumpet 
  21. Have some Social Currency
  22. Start investment early 
  23. God and Medicine can co-exist in one sentence 
  24. Travel as often as you can, it’s a perspective changer 
  25. The God definition of Love is enough 
  26. Strive for Excellence not Perfection 
  27. The God factor makes all the difference in everything 
  28. Have a personal relationship with God 
  29. Experience is not the best teacher the Holyspirit is 
  30. Adulthood doesn’t always give what it should be giving a.K.a Adulthood is a scam… lol 
  31. Nobody has it all figured out. 
  32. Instant gratification feels good but leads not where #trusttheprocess 
  33. Feel the fear but do it afraid
  34. Do not Assume, Communicate about everything
  35. Change is inevitable
  36. Don’t settle, and if you have to, ensure it’s for more.
