Growing up in Lagos, Nigeria, a city steeped with faith, culture, craftsmanship, and relentlessness, I had an unmistakable taste in sartorial elegance among other things which conned me the nickname “Onífáàrí”, the Yoruba word for Fashionista.
The city greatly influenced my love for God, the need for community, and fashion from a very tender age. With the foundations and acumen for running a business firmly established while working at KPMG Nigeria, I decided to fledge into my childhood passion and enrolled at CSI Fashion Institute and thereafter London College of Fashion which cemented my path into a career in fashion and birthed my fashion business Shapes&Colors.
Beyond fashion, I also run multidimensional lifestyle businesses covering beauty, styling, luxury shopping, social media & business consulting (I guess you can call me “Jacky of all trades” lol…). However, when I am not working, I am catching flights and explore new cities. So far, I have visited 56 cities, and lived in 4, across 4 continents in the last 8 years.
One Ironic thing about me is that I am extremely introverted, but I show up when I need to. I am your definition of a typical “publicly private” person. Public enough to shine my light to the world and Private enough to be discreet. This space is a no discreet zone, as we begin this journey together, I plan to serve you tea on Faith, Travels, Business, Life, and everything in between.
More than serving you tea, one of my goals is that this space serves as a reminder for you to live a fully bloomed life, a life without the weight of religion or societal pressure. I pray this space stirs up your heart to intentionally seek, find and build a thriving relationship with Jesus. Above all, I pray it challenges you to BE, DREAM and BLOOM.
I am so excited that you are here and I can’t wait to connect with you all.
