STARTING OVER, The journey so far

the journey so far

Hello, I’m Lara, and it’s so good to have you here. I thought I had closed this blogging chapter until late last year when I started sensing in my spirit to pick it up again.

Let me give you a little back story;

For the longest time, I didn’t think so much of my writing until my friends and family started mentioning to me to do more with my gift of writing. On the 1st of January 2017, I launched this online space where I shared my thoughts on things I love; Faith, Fashion, Beauty & Travel. In less than 6months the engagement was unbelievable, and I was excited to see the growth.

Then I got busy with other things, the engagement dropped, people were not about that reading life anymore (or so I thought), blogging was no longer the cool kid on the block, (lol) and Instagram had taken over. Let’s just say, we all moved from being bloggers to content creators (lol) and that was how I stopped sharing on here completely.

One vital lesson I learned from the above in retrospect is that Understanding the Assignment is Important. If the purpose of a thing is not known, Abuse is Inevitable.

However, last year, it was impressed upon my heart to start sharing and create a community of people who want to live their lives in full bloom, as designed by God.

“For just as through the disobedience of the one man, the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous”. Romans 5:19

Agreeing to do this wasn’t easy because I am a numbers girl (lol) but I was quickly reminded that I live for the audience of ONE and he’s the God that never leaves the ONE behind and there’s so much power in ONE.

I guess at this point, I’ll say, it is an absolutely pleasure to get on this journey once again with you.

What to Expect?

Well, I will say, expect My Father and me, because we are going to be running this together.

Expect love and wholesome content across Faith, Fashion, & Lifestyle
I pray our time in this space serves as a reminder to live a fully bloomed life; a life without the weight of religion or societal restraints and pressure, but one completely wrapped up in God’s love and truth.

On that note, Welcome on board.
